Spicy Tomato on the Vine Salsa


  • 4 large ripe vine / plum tomatoes
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 jalapeno chiles, stemmed, seeded and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • salt to taste


Skin tomatoes by placing in a bowl of boiling water for 4 mins.
Chop and mix with chilli, onion and cilantro. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and a salt to taste – mix well and serve.
